D: You were supposed to be watching her.
BB: I did.
D: We go away for one short weekend and look what happens. You didn't watch her!
BB: Yes, I did. Two young, healthy folks and then some things are not meant to be seen, only experienced. This is what young people do. I am not so old that I cannot remember.
D: We have a big problem.
BB: No, you do not. She does. But, I'll tell you something. She is so horrified at the enormity of the consequences that she will never act mindlessly ever again. She is not a revolutionary. She is simply awakened to life. She will marry. This baby will have a name. She will keep kosher, make Shabbos, do everything the right way. She will be loving, understanding, hospitable, and above all, PROPER. When the time arrives she will be the matriarch of her generation. After all she is the first grandchild on both sides of the family.
Watch, see, she is her mother's daughter.
